This Podcast is the second part of a sermon Greg Bitgood brought to Kelowna Christian Center. KCC is the governing Church of Heritage Christian Schools and every year takes time to focus on their mission and call to Christian Education.
Hello fellow educators welcome to podcast number 80. Today I am recording and posting my podcast from Australia where I am networking with Christian Educators and looking into opportunities for Online and Distance Education. There is a vibrant Christian Education community down under and I believe we might have a role in helping schools find their way in the digital world. In this week's podcast I am giving you part two of a unique Sunday experience that we share every year at our Church, Kelowna Christian Center, called promotion Sunday. We call it promotion Sunday because we promote our children through their various classes in Children's Church but we also use this Sunday to remind ourselves of the very special call we have as a Church to Christian Education. Our schools at Heritage are Church governed schools and are still very much a part of our Church's vision and destiny, as you will hear. My official title with KCC is the Pastor of Christian Education and so I have the privilege of speaking to this very important part of who we are as a community. I hope you are inspired and can find your connection with us at KCC. Here is part two: Audio Only I have a new and engaging podcast for us next week podcast.
