Written by Greg Bitgood
Summer Repeat - We did a series of great Interviews with Sarah Bennett, Home School Consultant for Heritage Christian Online School. This is part 4 of 5. This podcast first aired March 16th, 2009.

Hello fellow educators, welcome to the summer repreat podcast number 74. Today we will continue our series of interviews with Sarah Bennett, Home Educational Consultant for Heritage Christian Online School. Please don’t forget that we are still sending out free copies of my book, Discipling this Generation for a Digital World to any one that sends us an email. Details to follow at the end of the podcast.

One of the best ways to grow in any vocation is to hear how people who do similar work to what you are doing, in this case education, but do it in a very different way. If you are campus schooler, believe it or not, I believe you will benefit the most from Sarah’s insights. 1. We share many of the same values and goals. 2. You will be surprised and impressed with the scoop of knowledge about curriculum and educational philosophy that good home educators teach by. 3. If we will be open minded and home school friendly then our campus schools can continue to serve and offer options to these wonderful families. Here is a comment from Marianne Wong who now works for our campus school as our Public Relations Liason: “Sarah is the reason that my children are attending Heritage Christian School.  If it was not for Sarah I would have not home schooled the years I did.  She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to curriculum.  I would phone Sarah and about any curriculum I had and she would walk me through it all. Sarah is very passionate about certain curriculum and wants everyone to know how fabulous they are  (and they usually are) I personally would like to thank her(and I have many times in the past) for her time and expertise.  To me Sarah Bennett is the Guru of home schooling. The podcast was so good I almost wanted to withdraw my children and homeschool again.  Ha Ha - not likely. I love HCS!” Here is part 4 of our interview with Sarah:
